Kara has been working at BLDD Architects since summer 2015. Previously she worked for Mercy Hospital as a Patient Care Technician on the Cardiac Stroke floor and in an Alzheimer/Dementia care unit. She loved helping people in the Medical field, but wanted to use her passion for art and design to help them in a creative way by bringing beautiful interior environments to the places people live and work.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?
In college, I worked night shift at the Hospital, then would stay up and go to morning classes before going back to bed. I love staying up late, but once my head hits the pillow, leave me be as long as possible the next morning! Ever heard the term "don't wake a sleeping bear?"

Watching The Greatest Showman and Bridgerton on repeat!

Somebody to Love by Queen, one of the best songs and you can catch me singing it full volume in public karaoke, or dancing around my house!
