The new 18-bed Emergency Care Center was designed so each room is visible from the nurses' station. All beds are monitored and multi-functional. The additional space allows for two separate entrances and also space for triage, medics, registration, dedicated lab, decontamination area, and negative pressure. It also includes a secluded family waiting room and a children's waiting area.
The Mississippi Valley Surgery Center in Davenport, IA, has undergone a transformative expansion and modernization. This ambitious project added 15,566 square feet of new space and meticulously renovated 9,482 square feet of the existing facility. The updates have significantly enhanced the center's ability to provide exceptional patient care.
Passavant Area Hospital is a 168-bed community hospital serving five counties. The hospital campus, approximately 328,000 s.f., underwent a thorough master planning process. The effort included an evaluation of the existing facilities regarding the need for additional space, code compliance, space utilization, infrastructure, modernization, and general patient flow. Schematic design included a new Emergency Care Center, surgery addition, remodeling of the Radiology Department, Lab Department, existing OR suite, and Cardio-pulmonary Department, and upgrade of site utilities.
