Parker earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She originally started out studying biology with plans for physical therapy, but quickly realized the medical field wasn't for her. That change gave her the chance to pursue a passion she's had since she was a kid - designing houses and buildings in The Sims! By this, her passion is in Architecture and Design. During school, she completed internships in residential, municipal, and educational practice, which gave her the chance to explore different paths in the field. Ultimately, she was most drawn to educational architecture for its unique purpose in creating environments where people can learn, grow, and develop.

In her free time, Parker is usually with her two cats, Meg and Mister, tending to her houseplants, painting, or tackling her next project around the house.
