noun-check-mark-circle-2946211-E31937For more than 30 years, BLDD Architects has helped districts secure more than $1.3 billion in funding. Our proven community engagement process puts voters in the driver's seat and district leadership at ease.

The best strategic plans begin with community and stakeholder involvement, creating buy-in from the start.

Every district faces maintenance and program space needs, which can be grouped into three buckets: scheduled maintenance, deferred maintenance, and a comprehensive plan. Our Physical Needs Assessment (PNA) process—and most others—focuses on fixing what’s broken. The comprehensive plan addresses larger needs, like adding a stage for a theater program or classrooms for growing enrollment.

Regardless of the need, if funding isn’t available, voter approval is required. Simple repairs, like a new roof, are easy to explain. But for bigger projects—like a performing arts center—districts need to clearly show the benefits to win support, especially if taxes will rise.
