The building provides distinguished entrances for both Independent Living and Assisted/Memory Care residents. Apartments feature scenic vistas of wetland prairiescapes along with connections to purposeful outdoor gardens and patio spaces, which are key elements of post-COVID design strategies.
The Landings includes 62 Independent Living Apartments, 56 Assisted Living Apartments, and 24 Memory Care Studios. Whether a studio, one bedroom or two bedroom, all of the Independent and Assisted Living apartments are provided with an outdoor balcony. Independent Living residents have washers/dryers and access to connected underground heated parking.

How do we efficiently accommodate a long, narrow and sloped site?
Our design team utilized existing grade to create a windowless infrastructure and storage space, and implemented two access drives to discreetly separate Independent and Assisted Living entry points.
With a sculptural lighthouse structure on the southwest corner of the building that serves as a beacon of identity this established Chicago-based agency, this 1,500 s.f. addition will accompany a renovation of the existing 9,250 s.f space.
In order to create an updated and more private recovery environment for short-term stay patients, Covenant Living of Northbrook undertook the delicate task of separating long-term resident living spaces from short-term patient areas.
Located on 8.5 acre site at the southwest corner of the intersection of S. Midlothian Rd. and Courtland St. in Mundelein, IL is a proposed 94 unit senior living community. The design is a subtle modern take on Colonial forms and concepts, consistent with the styling seen in many neighboring homes.
