Carriage Crossing Assisted Living in Arcola, Illinois is a 42,500 s.f. facility that includes 42 units for assisted living and 14 units for memory care. The space emphasizes comfort and traditional touches without compromising modern amenities, such as electric fireplaces and LED lighting.

Monarch Landing, a senior living development located in Naperville, Illinois contacted BLDD to renovate their existing formal dining space into a modern restaurant experience. The main design goal was to create a more intimate dining experience while remaining flexible and open for larger events. Addressing acoustics, lighting, and traffic flow were also high priorities along with new interior finishes.
Sedgebrook operated both a formal dining venue as well as a "café" dining area. The café had become outdated and was transformed into a Bistro and Pub, providing new dining environments along with a refreshed menu.
As an extension to the Carriage Crossing Senior Living (CCSL) Rochester community, BLDD was commissioned to design a townhome/cottage master plan. The project is built on a 3.17-acre site that consists of 14 one-story cottage quadplexes, triplexes and duplexes.
