The project consisted of interior remodeling of common spaces including dining, serving, activity, office, support, corridor and living spaces. The project also includes the relocation of the main entrance which includes a new vestibule addition.

Carriage Crossing Decatur offers scenic urban living surrounded by historic landmarks and two major medical centers—Decatur Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital. Walnut Court is an existing 30 year old two story residential building with 40 apartments located on the southwest section of the Covenant Village of Northbrook campus. The building houses Independent Living residents, and includes a mix of studio, one and two bedroom apartments.
As an extension to the Carriage Crossing Senior Living (CCSL) Rochester community, BLDD was commissioned to design a townhome/cottage master plan. The project is built on a 3.17-acre site that consists of 14 one-story cottage quadplexes, triplexes and duplexes.
